We then chose a lovely school uniform for the bear and accessorised him with some very smart glasses. Each week a child will be chosen to take the bear home on a Friday for the weekend. Max and Fluffy can then be returned on Monday with a diary detailing his weekend adventures. Our Year 1 children behaved impeccably throughout the trip and were a credit to the school! Dear Parents/ Carers,

Welcome to Starfish Class! We hope you all had a fantastic summer, the children were very excited to tell us about all of the fun things they got up to!

Miss Sheppard and Mrs Maund have really enjoyed getting to know all of your wonderful children this week and are really looking forward to the fun filled year ahead. We were also very impressed at how beautifully the children came into school, how smart they all looked, and their brilliant behaviour.

Just a few reminders; every child must bring a named water bottle and PE kit into school by Monday. The children will also be given their new reading books on Monday and we encourage you to read with your child at home as much as possible. A curriculum newsletter will also be sent out next week explaining this half term’s exciting learning.

If you ever have any concerns or worries please do not hesitate to contact us. We are on the door in the mornings and we can arrange an appointment for after school when we will have more time to discuss any issues.

Thank you for your continued support
