Today we went to the amazing Corfe castle.  It was such a fascinating tour.  Our tour guide called Gill was so knowledgeable.  Gill really brought the castle to life with all the stories she shared about the castle and its past. We couldn’t wait to write about our experience in out topic lesson the next day.  Click here to see our amazing photos.

This morning we went on a nature scavenger hunt through Burley wood in the New Forest. It was such a beautiful morning. We almost found everything on our nature sheet. The only item we couldn’t find was a seed pod. We imagined what it would be like to live in a forest, just like Robin Hood. We hope you like our photographs. Please click here.Welcome to Year 3!

It was such a beautiful sunny day; we are very lucky to live in such a gorgeous place. Click here for photos.

There was a prize for the best decorated scooter. Funds raised will be used for more physical outdoor play equipment.  Click here for photos.

Today we went to Alum Chine beach for our literacy lesson. This term we are focusing on ‘sense’ poetry were we are exploring where we live through our senses and our emotions.  So far the Sapphire and Diamonds have come up with amazing ideas for their poems.  We are really looking forward to publishing our poems and sharing them with our families.
