What is SMSC?

SMSC stands for Spiritual, Moral, Social and Cultural. All Schools and Academies in England must show how well their pupils develop in SMSC.

  • Half termly Fab Finishes where children have the opportunity to showcase their learning to other year groups in a variety of ways (performances, Galleries, Museums, Workshops, Presentations, Videos e.t.c..)
  • Whole school pupil/staff voice carried out on a termly basis. Subject leaders, SLT, Inclusion Team and Members of AAT conduct smaller pupil voice surveys throughout the year to ensure the views of our children are being listened to and any actions are being implemented to improve our school.
